YA FIT Pilates Inc. owns and operates yafitpilates.com and the YA FIT Pilates studios in Agoura Hills and Tarzana, California. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website or our services, you agree to it.

Membership, booking, cancellation, and billing terms are published separately at Studio Policies.

Information You Give Us

• First and last name
• Email address and phone number
• Date of birth
• Emergency contact name and phone number
• Billing and payment information, processed by our payment provider and not stored by us
• Health and injury information you choose to share so we can train you safely
• Proof of student enrollment, where a student rate applies

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website we collect log data including IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, time on page, and referring URL. We also use analytics and session tools that record how visitors move through the site.

Note

Microsoft Clarity records anonymized session replays of website visits, including mouse movement, clicks, and scrolling. It is used to improve the site. Keystrokes in form fields are masked.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies to keep the site working, measure performance, and improve your experience. You can disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work correctly. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where our systems receive them.

We Do Not Sell Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers who help us run the studio, and only as needed to do that work.

• Momence: booking, membership management, payments, email and text messaging
• Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager: website traffic measurement
• Microsoft Clarity: website session analytics
• Social and advertising platforms: where you have interacted with our accounts or ads

These providers use your information only as directed by us and under their own privacy policies. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect the safety of our clients and staff.

Email and Text Messages

We send two kinds of messages. Transactional messages relate to your account and bookings, including confirmations, waitlist offers, and schedule changes. Marketing messages cover studio news, offers, and events, and are sent only with your consent.

By providing your mobile number you consent to receive recurring text messages from YA FIT Pilates Inc. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of marketing texts and HELP for assistance. You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any email. Opting out of marketing does not stop messages about your bookings.

How Long We Keep It

We keep client records for as long as your account is active and afterward for as long as needed to meet legal, tax, insurance, and record-keeping obligations. Signed waivers are retained for the period our insurers and California law require. Security camera footage is retained on a rolling basis and overwritten automatically.

Photography and Video

We photograph and film inside the studios for social media and marketing, and clients may appear in that footage. By participating in class you give us permission to use images and recordings in which you appear, across all media, without compensation.

If you prefer not to be filmed, tell the front desk or your instructor and you will be kept out of frame. If something featuring you has already been published and you would like it removed, write to your home studio and we will honor that request.

Security Cameras

Security cameras recording video and audio are installed in public areas of both studios for safety and operational purposes. Cameras are not used in restrooms or changing areas. Recordings are accessible only by authorized studio management and are handled in accordance with applicable privacy law.

Testimonials

We ask for written permission before publishing a client testimonial. Your name is not used without your express consent.

Social Media

YA FIT Pilates maintains public social media accounts. Anything you post or send on those platforms is subject to the platform's own privacy practices, which we do not control.

California Privacy Rights

California residents may request the following at any time:

• Know: what personal information we hold about you and how it is used
• Access: a copy of that information
• Correct: inaccurate information in your record
• Delete: your information, subject to records we are required to keep
• Opt out: of any sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising

To make a request, email info@yafitpilates.com from the address on your account, or call your home studio. We will verify your identity and respond within 45 days. An authorized agent may make a request on your behalf with written permission. We will never deny service, change your price, or reduce your service quality because you exercised a privacy right.

Children

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. Group classes are for ages 18 and up. A parent or legal guardian provides and consents to the information of any client aged 16 or 17. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, and misuse, and we limit staff access to what each role requires. No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The current version is posted on this page with the date it was last revised. Material changes are communicated to clients by email before they take effect.

Governing Law and Disputes

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes relating to your membership, purchases, or participation are handled under the dispute resolution terms in the participant agreement you signed and in our Studio Policies.
